The Coordinating Committee, comprised of volunteers from all walks of life in the valley, in collaboration with Aspen Youth Center and the Roaring Fork Family Resource Center came together for the 13th annual 8th Grade Career Day/Girls to Women/Women to Girls.(G2W) On April 12th & 19th, 2012, approximately 275 8th grade girls were transported by school bus from 9 schools in Aspen & the Roaring Fork Valley for a day filled with activities geared to introduce them to the many avenues available to them as women. Approximately 50 women and 20 high school girls volunteered their time to work with the girls.
