Moving in general is a hassle, but add going across an ocean and to a foreign country and the stress can easily multiply. Although packing your own boxes can save money, when moving internationally it is usually recommended that your moving company do the packing. Because of the long distance and different types of transportation your items will be on, the moving company will know how to pack accordingly.

“8th Grade Career Day” Girls to Women/Women to Girls (G2W)

Columbine Moving & Storage has volunteered our moving and storage expertise for the last 13 years in helping the Aspen Youth Center and the Roaring Fork Family Resource Center with 8^th Grade Career Day. The Coordinating Committee, comprised of volunteers from all walks of life in the valley, in collaboration with Aspen Youth Center and the Roaring Fork Family Resource Center came together for the 13^th annual 8th Grade Career Day/Girls to Women/Women to Girls.(G2W) On April 12th & 19^th, 2012, approximately 275 8^th grade girls were transported by school bus from 9 schools in Aspen & the Roaring Fork Valley for a day filled with activities geared to introduce them to the many avenues available to them as women. Approximately 50 women and 20 high school girls volunteered their time to work with the girls.
